The purpose of this study was to develop monodispersed polystyrene particles as certified reference materials in accordance with the ISO 17034: 2016 and Guide 35. It can play a significant role especially during COVID-19 pandemic since several covering items such filtering facepiece respirators or medical masks must be investigated for quality operation by various sizes polystyrene. were prepared in-house National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC) using polymerization styrene. Each batch preliminary check distribution, aggregation averaged size dynamic light scattering. Then 1% solid suspension deionized water homogeneity testing, stability assessment characterization transmission electron microscope ImageJ software. 100 nm an example has been successfully synthesized fulfilled criteria deviation from nominal value less than ± 10 polydispersity index 0.05. Consequently, 105.5 4.6 developed Thailand which similar level accuracy commercial products.
